Parents In Partnership

When choosing Manorcroft Nursery you commit to becoming involved in helping and every family is expected to undertake a job termly. These jobs vary and include getting involved in cleaning the nursery, undertaking some maintenance, looking after the nursery garden, or opting to join the fundraising team.

 

In order to replace new equipment and add to our existing stock, parents have to fund raise. Various events are held throughout the year such as cake stalls, sponsored events, Christmas and summer fairs. The fundraising team arrange these events but all parents are expected to help - it is, after all, for the benefit of all children. If nursery fees covered all the true costs of running the nursery the fees would have to be much more per session. However, helping out with fund raising and getting involved with your child's nursery education can be fun, and is a good way of making new friends.

 

At Manorcroft Nursery we really embrace 'Parents as Partners', you know your child best and can provide us with information about their life outside nursery. We would really appreciate it if you would use your ‘Blossom Educational’ app to send us any observations and/or photographs of any experiences or activities your child has enjoyed or any significant learning milestones, i.e. putting on own coat, riding a bike etc. The information you have provided may help us to conclude their next step and will help us to plan experiences that will interest and excite them.
